Brain science, meet relational healing.
Hello, I'm Sandra Medina, a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges in Mexico and Canada.
Since 2014, I've helped clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addictions, grief, self-esteem and relationship difficulties, psychiatric disorders, immigration and life transitions with compassion and evidence and trauma based care, holding a background and training in Neuropsychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution- Focused Therapy, EMDR and Narrative Therapy.
I specialize in couples and family therapy, trained in Gottman Method Levels 1 & 2, and a Master’s in Systemic Family and Couples Therapy helping clients strengthen communication, rebuild trust, navigate separation or divorce, and develop healthier relationships. I also provide counselling in both English and Spanish, creating a welcoming space for clients from diverse backgrounds.
My goal is to offer a safe, confidential, and non judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and create lasting change whether you're seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or your family.
Outside of the therapy room, I spend my time at the gym, reading, travelling, and with my husband and children.
